Social Media Community Guidelines

Greater Manchester Police Federation does not routinely monitor its Social Media feeds and comments. As is stated on our Facebook page. However when comments are brought to our attention/reported, the Federation retains the right to remove without notice any commentators from our Staff Association Social Media pages that do not adhere to our community guidelines which include – but are not limited to – homophobic, sexist and racist comments, and comments which bring into question the integrity of colleagues of all ranks. Also those commenting where there is a risk of libel or contempt of court. And comments which are flagged as being spam.
