Stockport MP Pledges Support For Police
Greater Manchester Police Federation met Stockport NP Navendu Mishra yesterday to discuss the issues facing police officers in the city.
Navendu visited the Federation offices to discuss key topics that are affecting police officers, including: concerns around police pay, retention rates in GMP, officer burnout and a lack of Government funding for policing.
GMP Federation Chair Mike Peake said: “Navendu keeps in regular contact with us and shows a real interest in local policing matters.
“After previous meetings, he has raised key topics in Parliament that affect our members, and yesterday he committed to continuing to do so.”
